Aquatic Paradise Unfound -Barnwood Grey Frame

“A study of a beautiful aquatic bank on the Silver River in Florida; included are the Little Blue Heron and Red-bellied Turtles and native plants such as Pickerelweed (Pontederia cordata). Aside from the background, most of the subject matter was built-up with thick layers of gesso and paint to achieve a slight 3-D effect. One year in design and over four months painting. These new canvas prints have the depth and vibrancy of the original painting. This and most of my paintings are inspired by my research into Florida’s most pristine places, where I study wildlife in nature.” -Peter R. Gerbert
