"This design began years ago, scuba diving and snorkeling... studying colorful Coral Reefs and the fascinating Marine Life thriving there. Sea Turtles were almost always nearby, but I wasn't able to get really macro, detailed photographs to do a painting. A visit to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota provided me with the up-close Sea Turtles I had been hoping for, in order to get every detail."
