“There's nothing quite as striking as white on black for contrast! I think that the almost florescent pinks and vivid blues give this painting a 3-D quality. Sitting by the edge of a river one day, a flock of Ibis meandered by me, pocking and prodding at the water. I tried to give the viewer the feeling that you're in the water in front of them.”      Peter G
